Miami born and raised Marcella Araica, has swiftly burgeoned the most prolific sound engineers.

Starting at The Hit Factory fresh out of Full Sail University, she gained immediate favor from Missy Elliot and Timbaland. She became their go-to mixer and during that time, Araica met frequent collaborator and now Grammy Award winning producer Danja. Nearly 20 years later, Araica is credited for mixing over one hundred chart-topping tunes. She has had the opportunity of working with world-renowned musical icons such as Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, and Polow Da Don (full released discography here.)

Subsequently, she has been honored with two ASCAP awards for her work on Pink’s “Sober” and Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down”, honored as a Leading Lady of the Latin Recording Academy and inducted her into Alma Mater, Full Sail University’s Hall of Fame in 2013.

Araica is Co-Founder and Managing Director of the newly built recording studio compound Dream Asylum Studios in Miami and revived independent record label, N.A.R.S. (New Age Rock Stars) in partnership with Danja

Araica currently holds positions as Governor of the Recording Academy Florida Chapter, Committee member of Producer & Engineers Wing and She is the Music and is an advocate of organizations such as Women in Music and Girls Make Beats. She speaks at panels and universities around the US, educating students on music engineering and navigating the music business. Araica aims to bring the spotlight to designers behind the board and actively advocates for the next generation of music stars.
